WaiverKit
Built for climbing and bouldering gyms

Waivers that sign before they chalk up.

Climbers scan a QR code at reception, acknowledge belay rules, auto-belay clip-in procedure, and falling risk on their phone, and sign before the belay test. Every waiver is timestamped, searchable by member, and admissible in court.

How it worksLive

Climber scans the reception QR code before the belay test.

They acknowledge falling risk, auto-belay rules, and equipment-failure clauses, then sign.

Front desk sees a green check, signed PDF is stored with IP, timestamp, and integrity hash.

Belay checks stay the focus

The waiver clears before the belay test starts. Staff spend their time watching knots, not passing clipboards. New climbers move through intake without backing up the line on a Saturday afternoon.

Minor waivers with parent signature

Parents sign from anywhere before drop-off. Conditional fields capture guardian info, custody status, and emergency contact. Your front desk gets a verified parent signature, not a scribbled form from a 12-year-old.

Auto-belay acknowledgment built in

Add an auto-belay specific clause that climbers must initial separately. Every signature is time-stamped per clause, so if a clip-in incident ever reaches court, you have proof the climber read and accepted that risk.

Common questions

Gym owners ask us

Can climbers sign from their own phone?

Yes. A QR code at reception sends climbers to a mobile form. They acknowledge belay, auto-belay, and falling risks, then sign before the belay test. No shared tablets, no germ transfer, no printer jams on a busy Saturday.

How do we handle day-pass walk-ins?

Day-pass walk-ins scan the same reception QR code. The form takes their name, emergency contact, and risk acknowledgments in about 60 seconds. A signed PDF hits your dashboard before they rack up.

Will this hold up if a climber gets hurt and sues?

Courts in climbing injury cases routinely accept digital waivers when the record shows clear clause-by-clause acknowledgment. WaiverKit stamps each PDF with IP, timestamp, SHA-256 integrity hash, and optional per-clause initials, which satisfies the evidentiary bar ESIGN and UETA set.
